Why Full Manuscript costs more

The $49 reading tells you whether the submitted pages are working. The $249 reading tells you whether the complete manuscript is structurally ready — and adds the long-form analysis layers that only exist at manuscript scale.

A chapter can work beautifully while the manuscript containing it still fails structurally. A full evaluation identifies what shorter readings cannot reliably establish: whether causality accumulates, character choices carry consequences, narrative pressure escalates, and the ending fulfills what the manuscript built.

How long is my completed evaluation retained?

Your completed evaluation is retained under the customer-content retention policy—kept while your account is active and up to 2 years of dormancy, with a 30-day warning before deletion and an option to retain.

Is RevisionGrade replacing human editors?

No. RevisionGrade identifies, documents, and prioritizes manuscript problems. Human judgment remains essential for interpretation, artistic intent, structural decisions, and final editorial choice.

Does RevisionGrade automatically rewrite my manuscript?

No. Governed repair alternatives exist only for eligible Copy-Paste recommendations, and you decide what to inspect, apply, modify, reject, or preserve. Strategy and Held recommendations are deliberately excluded from automatic revision.

Do I pay again to use the recommendations in my evaluation?

No. Your completed evaluation includes its findings and eligible revision paths. You may review, compare, apply, modify, reject, undo, or preserve those results at no additional charge.

What happens after I revise my manuscript?

A re-evaluation reads a revised version of the same manuscript project and produces updated evidence with a new prioritized set of recommendations. Re-evaluation options are introduced in your project workspace only when the revised-version workflow is available for your project.

Do I need to disclose RevisionGrade use to instructors, workshops, or agents?

RevisionGrade uses AI-assisted analysis and, for eligible recommendations, governed revision proposals that you review, modify, reject, or preserve. It does not submit work on your behalf or replace your editorial judgment. If an instructor, program, publication, agent, or submission process asks about AI assistance, follow its stated policy and describe your use accurately.

Is a high score a guarantee of representation or publication?

No. RevisionGrade measures manuscript readiness within its editorial framework. It does not predict whether an agent, editor, publisher, instructor, or reader will accept the work.

Are evaluation purchases refundable?

Paid evaluations are custom digital analyses and are final once processing begins. Billing errors, duplicate charges, and verified non-delivery are reviewed.

Held recommendations require more context, stronger authority, or a later revision state before a governed repair can be proposed.

Both remain visible in your editorial record. Neither is automatically repaired, and neither is included in TrustedPath™ bulk application.

TrustedPath™ applies eligible A — Recommended Repair decisions from your completed evaluation to a protected duplicate draft. It creates no additional charge, never processes Strategy or Held recommendations, and never overrides the author.
